Vote YES on Measure M to protect the quality of Murrieta schools—without raising taxes!
Murrieta schools consistently rank among the best in the state and were recently recognized as the best in Riverside County. However, many neighborhood schools are nearly 40 years old, with "temporary" portable classrooms now more than 30 years old. Aging roofs, deteriorating plumbing, outdated classrooms and labs are in urgent need of repair and modernization.
Classrooms and schoolyards get uncomfortably hot. Updated shade structures, ventilation and air conditioning are needed for safe and healthy learning environments.
Measure M will modernize neighborhood schools to support high student achievement and serve our community for decades. Strong schools strengthen our community and protect property values.
Measure M ensures taxpayer accountability:

A detailed project list and required public disclosure of all spending
An independent oversight committee and annual audits

All funds must be locally controlled and cannot be taken by the state or federal government

No funds could be used for employee salaries other than those directly related to the implementation of the District’s bond program
Whether or not you have school-age children, strong schools protect home values, strengthen neighborhoods, and improve quality of life for students, families, and the entire community.
Vote YES on AA to repair aging schools WITHOUT INCREASING TAX RATES.
